Sterling Ridge is one of the newest villages and received its name because it was inaugurated on the 25th Anniversary of The Woodlands. Sterling Ridge is located on the western end of The Woodlands, surrounding Carlton Woods and home to the Gary Player Golf Course.
New Homes – Homebuilding is underway in many neighborhoods in the western area of Sterling Ridge known as Terramont, including homes surrounding the Gary Player Signature golf course. Homes are also being offered in May Valley, a new 400-acre neighborhood in West Sterling Ridge that is now being developed.
Schools currently serving the village include Deretchin Elementary (K-6 grades), Coulson Tough Elementary (K-6), and the Ninth Grade Campus for The Woodlands High School. May Valley residents are part of the Magnolia ISD. The Cynthia Mitchell Library, Park & Ride Facilities, and Branch Crossing YMCA location also call this village home.
The Sterling Ridge Village Association (SRVA) is in place to serve the interests and welfare of Sterling Ridge and its residents. Meetings take place the 4th Monday of every month.
